The other side of the moon. The 1970s and the utopia of rock festivals

A collective photographic exhibition by eight photographers who chronicled the Italian Rock Festival, which in the 1970s contributed to undermining the conservatism of the time. These are accompanied by contemporary works by a famous and combative graphic designer who fought against stereotypes and censorship with his posters.

The exhibition focuses on the different points of view of ordinary enthusiasts and professional photographers, who recount moments from the various festivals from their personal perspective, through their presence and participation, thus creating an evocative and emotional panorama of those years. The exhibition is also accompanied by a catalogue produced by Editoria Grafica Colombo in Valmadrera, which contains texts by the curators and numerous photographs.
