That branch of Lake Como is Jazz. Eleven editions, thousands of people involved, a unique energy that continues to grow. From 8 to 11 July 2026, the Lecco Jazz Festival returns – now an unmissable fixture of Lecco’s cultural summer – with a revamped programme of concerts, street music and special events set to transform the city into a vast space for listening, socialising and discovery.

The beating heart of the 2026 edition will be the Teatro della Società, the completely renovated venue that will welcome jazz enthusiasts on a journey through memory, atmosphere and new sonic visions. A symbolic place that becomes the centre of a festival dedicated to the encounter between artists and audience, between different musical languages, between the lake landscape and the vibrant energy of the city.

Four unmissable evenings, featuring major international stars and tributes to the masters who have changed the history of jazz.

The festival kicks off on Wednesday 8 July with the visionary energy of Jowee Omicil, an unconventional multi-instrumentalist and performer capable of blending jazz, Afrobeat, gospel and hip-hop into a free-flowing, sweeping soundscape. An unpredictable, intense and spiritual concert.
On Thursday 9 July, Judith Hill takes to the stage – a magnetic and refined artist who has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Prince. Her music spans soul, funk, gospel and rock with extraordinary emotional power, creating a powerful and captivating show.
Friday 10 July sees the stage taken by an absolute legend: Billy Cobham. A master of jazz-fusion and an innovator of modern drumming, he celebrates his extraordinary career with ‘Time Machine’, a journey through the iconic tracks of his electric era and new sonic explorations brimming with energy and creative freedom.
The grand finale on Saturday 11 July features Roberto Gatto, who brings to the stage a contemporary tribute to Miles Davis and John Coltrane, weaving together memory, improvisation and musical exploration in an intense dialogue between tradition and new visions of jazz.

The Lecco Jazz Festival also takes over the city with the Concerti Diffusi, four free events offering an up-close experience of jazz, traversing the city through emotions, sonic exploration and new musical connections.

The Fuori Festival offers a musical journey through jazz, Brazilian music and contemporary influences.
