Acquate
The district that was the setting of the meeting between the Bravoes and Don Abbondio
Tradition identifies two different districts of Lecco as the location of the village of Renzo and Lucia, which can be visited while following the Manzonian itinerary: Acquate and Olate.
In the Acquate district, on Via Lucia, stands the building traditionally recognised as Lucia’s house. From the courtyard, you can see the hill on which Don Rodrigo’s palace stands.
