Discover a unique experience surrounded by nature, accompanied by expert naturalists and ornithologists, who will reveal the secrets of bird migration.
Our guided tour will take you to the Costa Perla Ornithological Station, a research centre active since 1989, where science, passion and didactics meet.
Thanks to its strategic position along the Lake Como axis, Monte Barro is a fundamental stopover for many migratory birds: its grasslands, rich in invertebrates, become a real refuge for the birds’ refreshment and feeding, before or after their demanding flight across the Alps.
After a short hike, we will have the opportunity to observe ringing and measuring operations at close quarters, fundamental tools for scientific monitoring.
An unmissable opportunity to experience the world of birds and the beauty of nature up close!
