Davide Mandelli is a nature and hiking guide who has turned his passion for long walks and exploration into a true life’s mission.
Born in Brianza, Davide’s career path mirrors the narrative structure of the ‘Monomyth’ (the hero’s journey): after years spent in the transport sector and in international voluntary work, including a significant experience in Nepal in 2015, in 2019 he chose to radically change his life to devote himself entirely to nature.
His experience in the field includes major routes such as the Camino de Santiago, the Via Francigena and the Shikoku pilgrimage in Japan – journeys that have allowed him to deepen his understanding of the ancestral bond between humankind and the environment.
Today, Davide guides visitors with the aim of introducing as many people as possible to the world of the mountains, drawing inspiration from William Blake’s philosophy: ‘When men and mountains meet, great things happen’.
He leads his excursions in Italian and English.
