The Art-U Cultural Association was founded in February 2012 by six art history graduates who, after gaining extensive experience in the arts and culture sector, decided to put their professional skills to good use.
The Association organises guided tours, exhibitions, workshops and educational activities, conferences and courses with the aim of promoting the art and culture of the Brianza, Lecco, Milan and Bergamo areas.
The choice of the name ART-U, which evokes the legendary king of Camelot, aims to emphasise one of the Association’s goals: to ensure that art reaches everyone. For this reason, the letter U is intended as an acronym for YOU, so the meaning of the name becomes “art for you” but more broadly, art for everyone.
Art-U has chosen to adopt the association formula because those who run it live this experience as a passion, motivated not by profit but by the desire to share and spread culture, especially that of their local area.
