Como Lake 2027 Open Master Series

From September 17 to 26, 2027, Lecco, together with Varese and Como, will host the Como Lake 2027 Open Master Series event.

This is a multi-sport event for master athletes, i.e., those over 30, organized every four years by the International Masters Games Association, an international non-profit association based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Lombardy Region has identified these three cities as the host cities for the 2027 master games, after the International Master Games Association chose Lombardy, with its “Lake Como 2027” bid, as the winner of the challenge that, at the end of a long process, saw Italy and Portugal competing against each other.

Lecco will host the following disciplines: archery, athletics, badminton, climbing, duathlon, triathlon, five-a-side soccer, mountain biking, skyrunning, and tennis.

Exactly two years before the start of this important event, which will involve thousands of athletes from different countries, we are inaugurating the “road” that will lead us to the Como Lake 2027 Open Master Series.

Simultaneously, in the three municipalities, connected live, the event will be presented and the countdown will officially begin.
