Emotion of the games – Culture through sport

The Municipality of Lecco will host the project “EMOZIONE DEI GIOCHI – CULTURE THROUGH SPORT – Itineraries in Lombardy for the ‘Cultural Olympics’”, promoted by the Lombardy Region – Culture Department and organised by the Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs as part of the Cultural Olympiad of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The original, interactive, and engaging exhibition features a photographic exhibition and exciting images and videos of memorable moments from the Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will be inaugurated on Thursday, July 31, at 11:30 a.m. at the Palazzo delle Paure. The project, consistent with the “Three-Year Program for Culture 2023 – 2025 Program” and included in the schedule of the Cultural Olympics of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, involves the implementation of actions aimed at promoting the Olympic territories and the legacy of the Olympics and accompanying the citizens of Lombardy and local institutions on a journey towards the Games in an integrated perspective between the various policies: sport, culture, tourism, and education.
