Immerse yourself in a magical evening walk through the picturesque districts of Acquate and Bonacina, steeped in history and charm, until you reach the banks of the Caldone stream. Here, after sunset, a unique show awaits you: fireflies dance in the air, while an expert guide will tell you the secrets of these magical insects, their characteristics, peculiarities and legends.

You will discover the fascinating world of fireflies by immersing yourself in their natural habitat. Thanks to the quality of the air and water in the Caldone stream area, fireflies find the ideal microclimate here to thrive, creating a light show that enchants young and old alike.

Before starting the hike, if you wish, you can enjoy a delicious aperitif. An exciting experience to enjoy with family or friends, which will allow you to rediscover the beauty and magic of nature.

Programme

6:30 pm – meeting at Taverna Ai Poggi (Via Ai Poggi 14/20, Lecco) and aperitif

8:15 pm – trekking departure

11:00 pm – return along the same route as the outward journey

11:30 pm – arrival in Viale Montegrappa at Naturasì supermarket

Aperitif at a cost of € 15.00 per person, to be paid at Taverna Ai Poggi (includes: focaccia and pizza samples, vegetable pie, assorted meat skewers + 1 drink to choose from: beer, spritz, non-alcoholic cocktail)

Information

For those who want to have an aperitif: meet at 6.30 pm in front of the Taverna ai Poggi in Via ai Poggi, 14/20.

For those who do NOT want to have an aperitif: meet at 8.15 pm in front of the Taverna ai Poggi in Via ai Poggi, 14/20.

You can park in front of Naturasì in Viale Montegrappa, 11 or in Via Caduti di Nassiriya or Via Fabio Filzi and walk to the Taverna ai Poggi in a few minutes. (Please do not park at the Taverna).

Otherwise, from Lecco railway station you can take bus no. 5 in the direction of Funivia Piani d'Erna and get off at Taverna ai Poggi, or bus no. 4 in the direction of Cereda and get off in Corso Promessi Sposi - at the traffic lights on the corner of Via ai Poggi.

Suitable for people without walking difficulties (not recommended for wheelchairs due to poor visibility at night).

Cancellation policy

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of the experience. In case of cancellation, you can choose one of the following options:

– Request a discount code with the same amount of your booking that can be used to buy an experience on www.leccotourism.it within 12 months from the date of issue;

– Request a refund of 85% of the amount paid.

If you do not cancel or modify your reservation within 48 hours before the start time of the experience, the amount paid will not be refunded and the changes will not be accepted.

For cancellations by the operator due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. bad weather conditions) or if the minimum number of participants will not be reached, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and you will receive by email a discount code for the entire amount paid.
