Description

Mount Muggio is a spectacular natural balcony over Lake Como. Its slopes are home to ancient villages and alpine pastures steeped in history, connected by suggestive mule tracks: this is the Muggiasca, one of the most fascinating areas of the Lecco mountains.

We will start out from the old town of Noceno and, climbing up an ancient mule track immersed in the woods, we will reach the enchanting locality of Camaggiore, from where there is an incomparable view of the lake. We will then continue through wide pastures and descend towards Pratolungo, to close the loop with a scenic path halfway up the hillside that will take us back to our starting point.

9:30 am- Meeting in Noceno, briefing and start of excursion

11:00 am – Arrival in Camaggiore

12:30 pm – Break with packed lunch

3:30 pm – End of excursion

Information

The route follows trails of type T and E, with sections of mule track, beaten path and agro-pastoral road. The last section of the loop between Pratolungo and Noceno takes place on more impervious terrain that requires surefootedness.

Length: 8km

Duration: 6h

Trekking shoes and sport clothing appropriate to the season.

Necessary: trekking backpack, water bottle (at least 1L), packed lunch, k-way. Optional: light snacks, sunglasses, hat/headgear, sun lotion, trekking poles.

Cancellation policy

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of the experience. In case of cancellation, you can choose one of the following options:

– Request a discount code with the same amount of your booking that can be used to buy an experience on www.leccotourism.it within 12 months from the date of issue;

– Request a refund of 85% of the amount paid.

If you do not cancel or modify your reservation within 48 hours before the start time of the experience, the amount paid will not be refunded and the changes will not be accepted.

For cancellations by the operator due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. bad weather conditions) or if the minimum number of participants will not be reached, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and you will receive by email a discount code for the entire amount paid.
