Monte Legnoncino is a natural balcony overlooking upper Lake Como: at 1,714 metres, it offers an unforgettable view. We will reach the summit with a pleasant and easy hike suitable for everyone, thanks to the expert guidance of Paolo Negri, a medium mountain guide of the Collegio Guide Alpine.
Our route begins at the Roccoli di Artesso, located at 1,210 metres in Valvarrone above Sueglio (LC), and will take us to our destination via an itinerary rich in history and nature.
During the hike, we will have the opportunity to visit the trenches of the historic Cadorna Line, hidden between the small lakes of Artesso and Lorla, silent witnesses to the events of the Great War.
A short stop at the Rifugio Bellano will allow us to recharge our batteries before continuing on to the summit.
From the summit, the view will leave us breathless and a spectacular 360° panorama will open up before us: from Lake Como to Pian di Spagna, from Valchiavenna to Valtellina, and on to the imposing Central and Rhaetian Alps.
In autumn, the trail turns into an explosion of colours: the foliage that paints the woods in a thousand shades will make the hike even more enchanting.
