Como Lake 2027 Open Master Series
From 16 September to 26 September 2027
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March 2026, the 34th edition of the “FAI Spring Days” returns. This major public event has, since 1993, enabled hundreds of thousands of Italians – on the first weekend of spring – to reconnect with the cultural and landscape heritage of the cities and regions in which they live. A heritage comprising artistic and natural treasures, some well-known and others less so, as well as unique stories, traditions and knowledge that are passed down and renewed by the communities that safeguard them. Every year, the FAI dedicates this “collective celebration” to them, designed to promote awareness, care and protection of this heritage, in line with the educational mission the Foundation has been pursuing for over fifty years.
Thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of thousands of volunteers from FAI delegations and groups active across all regions, hundreds of sites of art, history and nature – from the north to the south of the peninsula – will be open to visitors for a voluntary donation. Many of these sites are little known and under-appreciated, and some are usually inaccessible: from villas to castles, from churches to educational venues, from craft workshops to nature reserves, including theatres, art collections and industrial sites. Taking part in the FAI Spring Open Days is therefore an opportunity to discover and appreciate the heritage that surrounds us and a practical way to contribute to its protection and promotion, as with every visit you can support the Foundation’s mission with a donation.
