Acquate
The district that was the setting of the meeting between the Bravoes and Don Abbondio
Tradition identifies two different districts of Lecco as the location of the village of Renzo and Lucia, which can be visited while following the Manzonian itinerary: Acquate and Olate.
In the Acquate district, in Via Lucia, the building that has traditionally been recognised as Lucia’s House is located. Today, it houses a wine bar, from the courtyard of which the promontory of Don Rodrigo’s palace can be seen. The interior of the house can therefore only be visited by the wine bar’s customers.
