Amateur Sailing Sports Association
GEAS NBC Vela Colico is an amateur sports association. Its mission is to spread the practice and culture of sailing with methods and costs within reach of anyone interested in trying this activity in a friendly, family environment.
Courses on dinghies and cabin cruisers are held by FIV (Federazione Italiana Vela – Italian Sailing Federation) instructors who accompany students of all ages in learning all the techniques and notions needed to become capable and autonomous sailors, able to drive a sailing boat safely. At the end of the courses, it is possible to use the club’s boats free of charge for the current year and to participate in the many activities on the water that the club offers. The club not only allows the storage of sailing and motor boats, but also provides members with the use of social boats at low cost and organises national and international sporting events
