Rescue forces in action!

Rescue equipment and vehicles, demonstration camps and educational workshops on intervention techniques: a key ingredient of the 1st Italian Geosciences Festival is the first-aid forces, the subjects that in the Lecco area take care of the safety of frequenting the mountains and the lake.

Corpo Nazionale Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico (National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps), the Fire Brigade, Auxiliary Coast Guard and Civil Protection will be present in the Festival area, in particular at Base Camp, to reveal all about their precious activities.

Finally, the Festival’s legacy will be the design of a didactic module created thanks to their collaboration, tested directly with children and young people and then distributed to Lecco schools, to disseminate the basic notions for a safe approach to mountain trails and lake waters.
