Ghost Town Freeride

The city of Lecco has always been associated with its two most important symbols: the beautiful lake and the majestic Mount Resegone.
Once a year, the ResegUp makes it possible to retrace the historic Sentiero 1 on Mount Resegone. From there, the racers will leave the city and take, through the woods above Lecco, the most beautiful and spectacular route to the summit of the Resegone. They will pass the Azzoni hut, the extraordinary balcony over Lecco, and then descend towards Morterone, the smallest municipality in Italy. From there, they will ascend towards the “Pass del Giuf” and arrive at the Piani d’Erna, continuing to the Stoppani hut and into the heart of the city.
All this is the ResegUp: an extraordinary race that was created with the aim of uniting the lake with the mountain and the citizen with the skyrunner. And all this in less than three hours…
