The instant does not exist

Exhibition curated by the cultural association Lumis Arte, with the collaboration of the Circolo Fratelli Figini, and the patronage of the Municipality of Lecco and the Province of Lecco. The exhibition displays the research conducted by Raffaele Bonuomo, Rosandro Cattaneo, Luigi Corbetta, Matteo Donzelli, Francesca Della Toffola and Daniele Re on the expressive use of instant photography (Polaroid and Fuji).

The exhibition presents some of the different approaches with which the snapshot can be applied to the different genres of photography. In particular, images made with the techniques of emulsion lift, transfer, manipulation, cropping and collage will be shown. All these techniques are strongly linked to the manual skills of the authors. An interesting mixture of visual research and manual intervention. In addition to the photographers mentioned above, there will also be compositions by Giulio Cerocchi, dedicated to fashion.
