Urbem et suburbium

Solo exhibition of the artist Jonathan Guaitamacchi, who through a selection of mixed media works, offers the public an experience of profound reflection on the nature of the built environment and the human experiences that inhabit it.

The paintings of the internationally recognised artist are metaphors of reality fixed on canvas by a constant bichromatism between black and white: visions constructed through a language that moves between painting and architecture, metropolitan views, bird’s-eye perspectives, urban landscapes and panoramas.

The exhibition, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecco and the Sistema Museale Urbano Lecchese and curated by Francesca Brambilla and Francesca Venini, is sponsored by the Order of Architects of the Province of Lecco.

The inauguration will take place on 28 June at 6 pm in the Conference Room of Palazzo delle Paure
