The Windsurf Club Valmadrera (WCV), A.S.D. affiliated with U.I.S.P. (Unione Italiana Sport Per Tutti) is a social promotion association and a sports promotion body recognised by CONI. It has been present in the area for more than fifteen years and is now a reference point for many windsurfers in the Lecco area.
The WCV’s objective is the development and dissemination of water sports, particularly windsurfing, understood as a means of psycho-physical and moral training, through the management of all forms of training and/or recreational activities suitable for promoting the knowledge and practice of water sports, including educational activities for young people.
Socialisation, integration and inclusion are the primary characteristics of the WCV’s initiatives, the cardinal principles of all their proposals. The WCV’s philosophy is to pool resources and create moments of cohesion and collaboration in order to offer a pathway for the young and very young, with the aim of making this sport known and giving everyone the chance to practice it.
