The idea was conceived to mark the centenary of the author\u2019s death, during a training course for new tourist guides organised by the Lecco Tourist Board, in response to the increase in visits from schools, clubs and groups keen to discover the settings of the novel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over time, the walk has become a true tradition in Lecco, involving local associations, volunteers and institutions.
