Thanks to this privileged position, the Park has been designated a \u201cSite of Community Importance\u201d or its inestimable value in preserving biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A unique botanical and faunal treasure<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The charm of Monte Barro lies primarily in its incredible floral richness: within an area of less than 700 hectares, <strong>over 1,000 plant species<\/strong> have been recorded\u2014an exceptional concentration due to geological factors and events linked to the Pleistocene glaciations.
