Pian delle Betulle lies at an altitude of 1,501 metres in the Upper Valsassina in Margno (LC). It is an oasis in the mountains known for its peace and tranquility. It can be reached by cable car from Margno or on foot from Crandola and Margno. Nature has always been respected and conserved in this isolated, quiet place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominated by Monte Cimone, Pian delle Betulle has an alpine chapel, a stunning alpine lake and charming little houses, all encircled by a forest. There are breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and, on clear days, Lake Como and Lake Lugano can be seen, all the way to Monte Rosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the summer, Pian delle Betulle is a magnet for families, with its vast green meadows and a host of activities for children, including the Jungle Raider Park. A good way of discovering the beauty of the surrounding nature is walking along one of the many routes, suitable for all fitness levels, that start from here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the winter, Pian delle Betulle becomes a popular skiing destination, with ski lifts, slopes for beginners and experts, ski schools and equipment rental.
