{"id":3546,"date":"2024-04-09T12:40:46","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T10:40:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leccotourism.it\/?p=3546"},"modified":"2026-07-09T12:38:06","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T10:38:06","slug":"ferrata-gamma-2-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leccotourism.it\/en\/ferrata-gamma-2-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrata Gamma 2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<strong> Ferrata Gamma 2 <\/strong>is renowned as one of the most difficult, challenging and evocative routes in the area and runs along the ridges of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leccotourism.it\/en\/monte-resegone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monte Resegone<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leccotourism.it\/en\/piani-derna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Piani d&#8217;Erna<\/a><\/strong> can be reached from the car park of the cable car station by various means: by cable car, on foot or along <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leccotourism.it\/en\/ferrata-gamma-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ferrata Gamma 1<\/a><\/strong>. From the final cable car station, follow <strong>path number 5<\/strong>, walk for about 15 minutes then turn left. Next, follow<strong> path number 1<\/strong> to <strong>Rifugio Azzoni <\/strong>and, after another fifteen-minute walk, turn left to reach the start of the <em>via ferrata<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first part of the <em>via ferrata<\/em> leads to a flat ledge and then a vertical section with a very exposed wall. There is a succession of short ledges leading to the second key point of the <em>ferrata<\/em>: a vertical &#8216;chimney dihedral&#8217;, a passage that requires a lot of technical skill and challenges even the most experienced climbers. Once overcome, the route ascends to the top of <strong>Dente del Resegone<\/strong>. Unlike Gamma 1, Ferrata Gamma 2 has no escape routes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the descent, the opposite slope can be explored along <strong>path number 10<\/strong>. After a right turn, it takes 15 minutes to reach the <strong>Azzoni refuge <\/strong>on the summit of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/leccotourism.it\/en\/monte-resegone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monte Resegone<\/a><\/strong>.
