The exhibition proposes an itinerary in nature and landscape painting, to show its extreme relevance on an artistic and cultural level. The exhibition will bring together historically established artists from the province of Lecco such as Ennio Morlotti, Emilio Gola and Donato Frisia with historically well-known Lombard artists who are still to be rediscovered (Antonio Scaccabarozzi., Tino Vaglieri\u2026), as well as artists of the new generation (Stefano Caimi, Sara Invernizzi\u2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The exhibition will revolve around an important question: can nature painting still be relevant today? Can naturalistic art shine again in the contemporary art world, in which it seems to have lost its relevance? Or has the artistic importance of naturalism faded forever?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This theme will be explored in an exhibition divided into three sections, dedicated to the dialogue between painting, photography and nature, the relationship\/clash between abstract art and nature and, finally, the dialogue\/debate between technology, human beings and the natural environment. This itinerary will start from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day, with the intention of showing the link between the works of the artists on display and some profound transformations in Italian art (and beyond).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be a guided tour<\/strong> of the exhibition together with the curators on Sunday 29 September, 4pm,<\/strong> and a free didactic workshop for children<\/strong> aged 6 to 10, aimed at learning new techniques for drawing lake and mountain landscapes, curated by Antonella Zambon, on 6 October from 10.30 to 11.30am<\/strong>, (booking required, at lumisarte@yahoo.com or +39 348 089 3538).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Inauguration 6 September 2024, 6 p.m.<\/strong> in the conference room of Palazzo delle Paure.
