Have you ever wanted to climb rock faces and experience the thrills of sport climbing? 

Then Lecco is your ideal destination: an area with an international mountaineering history and a destination for enthusiasts from all over the world.

Climbing is more than a sport, it is a challenge against yourself, a way to overcome your limits and touch – literally – the sky with one finger! The Lecco mountains have been the stage for some of the giants of world mountaineering, such as Riccardo Cassin, Carlo Mauri and Casimiro Ferrari, who chose these peaks to train and conquer some of their goals. 

Thanks to this experience, you too will have the opportunity to approach this extraordinary world, accompanied by the guidance of a master mountaineer from the prestigious Gruppo Ragni di Lecco.  

Six hours of adrenaline to challenge your limits and enhance your skills!  Climbing is a philosophy of life, a deep connection with the mountain and with yourself. Don’t miss the opportunity to live this extraordinary experience! 

It is not necessary to know how to climb, it can be your first experience, but some training is required given the intensity of the climb. 

Programme 

9:30 am – meeting at Bione car park in Viale Ticozzi

9:45 am – briefing on climbing activity, check and distribution of equipment

9:50 am – departure from Lecco Bione car park, drive to the crag car park and approach to the wall

10:30 am – arrival at the crag and start of climbing activities

16:30 / 17:00 – end of activity and return

What is included / Not included

Alpine guide
Regular climbing equipment (ropes, brakes, quickdraws)
Climbing harness (possibility of rental: 3 euros. To be paid to the Alpine Guide upon delivery of the material)
Climbing shoes (possibility of rental: 5 euros. To be paid to the Alpine Guide upon delivery of the material)
Climbing/mountaineering helmet (possibility of rental: 3 euros. To be paid to the Alpine Guide upon delivery of the material)
Packed lunch

Information

Difficulty level: beginner, ranging from grade IV to VII

For those not in possession of climbing equipment, it is possible to rent everything directly through the mountain guide.

Rental: shoes 5,00 €; harness 3,00 €; helmet 3,00 € (all to be paid to the mountain guide upon delivery of the equipment, in cash)

Wear hiking shoes and sports clothing

Bring a spare shirt, sun hat or visor, rucksack with a capacity of approx. 30L, water bottle and packed lunch

Cancellation policy

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of the experience. In case of cancellation, you can choose one of the following options:

– Request a discount code with the same amount of your booking that can be used to buy an experience on www.leccotourism.it within 12 months from the date of issue;

– Request a refund of 85% of the amount paid.

If you do not cancel or modify your reservation within 48 hours before the start time of the experience, the amount paid will not be refunded and the changes will not be accepted.

For cancellations by the operator due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. bad weather conditions) or if the minimum number of participants will not be reached, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and you will receive by email a discount code for the entire amount paid.
