More experienced hikers, on the other hand, can tackle routes to Cima di Piazzo and Zuccone Campelli, or take on the more challenging trails of the Anello dei Campelli and the ascent to the summit of Monte Sodadura. The resort offers ski slopes suitable for beginners looking to take their first steps in safety, as well as opportunities for more experienced skiers and ski mountaineering enthusiasts. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can explore the snow-covered landscapes along the snowshoe trails, immersed in the silence and beauty of the mountain environment. Rounding off the winter offering, the Fun Park provides a family-friendly area where little ones can have fun in the snow in a safe and welcoming environment.

The hospitality of the mountain huts and how to get to Piani di Artavaggio

No visit to the Piani di Artavaggio is complete without a stop at one of its mountain huts, where you can savour the flavours of mountain tradition. The Rifugio Sassi Castelli, the Baita della Luna, the Rifugio A. Casari and the Rifugio Nicola welcome visitors with traditional dishes, local specialities and an authentic atmosphere, ideal for a break after a day spent in the great outdoors.

Reaching the plateau is easy thanks to the cable car from Moggio, which takes you up to the top in comfort whilst you enjoy a wonderful view. For those who prefer to experience the mountains step by step, there are also footpaths leading up from the valley floor, offering a route immersed in the nature and landscapes of Valsassina.
