Lake Como is the ideal destination to cool off on hot summer days with its many beaches for relaxation, sunbathing and fun. But which are the most beautiful beaches in the eastern arm?

Orsa Maggiore Beach, Lecco: an oasis as good as any seaside beach. Not far from the centre of Lecco, it can easily be reached by car, on foot or bike by the cycle path along the lake shore. Orsa Maggiore beach is sandy and has a bar, a restaurant, umbrellas with sunbeds and the option of renting pedal boats and canoes.

Ulisse Guzzi Park, Abbadia Lariana: Chiesa Rotta Park and Ulisse Guzzi Park are two beaches in Abbadia, both with grassy lawns and the option of renting sunbeds for a day of complete relaxation.

Lido di Mandello del Lario: an oasis of tranquility with a pebble beach and a well-equipped park, perfect for enjoying a refreshing break with bar and restaurant service.

Riva Bianca Beach, Lierna: surrounded by nature, this white pebble beach offers a picturesque setting ideal for a relaxing day. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas but several bars and restaurants can be found nearby.

Lido di Bellano: a small public beach near the historic centre, next to the mouth of the stream Pioverna, and a lido with a swimming pool perfect for families.

La Foppa Beach, Dervio: An entirely natural pebble beach with many trees and benches, it is connected to the town centre by a lakeside cycle path. The beach is not well-equipped but offers a stunning view of the north side of the lake, an Aqua Park, and an area specially equipped for dogs.

Lido di Colico: boasting a sandy and well-equipped beach with bars, restaurants and a wide range of sports activities suitable for all, from canoeing to beach volleyball, it is perfect for spending a day with family or friends.
